Job description

Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for two Specialist Caseworkers, to work Pan London. The service supports children and young people who’ve been exposed to or are at risk of exploitation or violence to secure safety and positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will be required to work 32 hours (4 days) per week, working between Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM. You’ll be expected to work outside these hours if required. Temporary cover is required for approximately 2 months. The pay rate is £16.49 per hour, with £2.65 holiday pay, totalling £19.14 per hour.

Please note; this role is a hybrid role which requires you to travel across London, meeting young people in the community or where they’re based. An induction will be held at the Head Office and a laptop and phone provided.

In this position, you will be required to :
  • Deliver effective one-to-one support to young people in collaboration with them so that their voice is at the centre of everything you do and the young people receive the support they need
  • Carry out robust risk assessments and strengths based needs assessments, with safeguarding as the priority, to ensure the most appropriate intervention is offered and risks are managed / escalated appropriately
