Are you an experienced CAMHS practitioner? Are you an excellent communicator and advocator. Are you keen to work across a wide variety of agencies and professional teams to ensure young people receive the best care therapeutic interventions and support at the right place and the right time?

Are you wanting to improve and make a real difference to young peoples mental health? Are you able to place the needs of a young people at the centre of everything you do and navigate the THRIVE partnership to ensure our young people get the right support at the right time?

If so then GMMH and Bolton CAMHS has a role for you working as part of a real Multi Disciplinary Team as one of our Specialist CAMHS Practitioners in Community CAMHS.

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist CAMHS mental health practitioner you will be working as part of the MDT.

You will have responsibility for supporting the team in triage and assessment of referrals to our service and ensuing timely and responsive access to the appropriate care pathways.

You will be responsible for the management of cases, duty, risk assessments, training and development within the team and wider THRIVE partners. Important developments of system partner relationships and building on the fantastic relationships we have in Bolton across Local Authority CVS . The role as a Specialist CAMHS Practitioner will also allow management development as the role will deputise in the absence of senior staff for the service.

Job responsibilities

  • Pay Enhancements 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
