A leading NHS hospital in Camden Town is seeking enthusiastic HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists with experience in haemostasis. You will provide high-quality diagnostic services, supporting children with complex bleeding disorders. The role requires post-registration experience and commitment to ongoing learning. The Haemostasis Laboratory Service at GOSH plays a critical role in supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of children with complex bleeding and thrombotic disorders, including those under the care of the Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre., You will work closely with the Senior Biomedical Scientist, Laboratory Manager and Clinical Leads to deliver a high‑quality diagnostic service.
Our laboratory supports a wide range of specialist investigations tailored to the unique needs of our tertiary paediatric patient population. This post will be a non‑rotational post with a standard working pattern of Monday‑Friday 9am -5:30pm.
As a Trust, we are committed to the training and development of future scientists. The department is IBMS‑accredited and has recently retained ISO 15189:2022 accreditation, with commendation for our training and competency assessment programme. Staff involved in clinical trial work are expected to have Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training in line with regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists who have either completed or are actively working towards the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology, and who can demonstrate post‑registration experience in coagulation. A keen interest in specialist haemostasis is essential.
The recruitment process for all admin and clerical roles at Bands 2-4 will be a two stage recruitment process whereby shortlisted candidates will undertake an online literacy, numeracy, ICT and typing test. Only those candidates who pass the competency test will proceed to a formal interview.
