Role Overview

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, Health and Care Professions Council registered Specialist Biomedical Scientists to join the Haematology department based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. The department is UKAS accredited and accepted by MHRA to be in general compliance with the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations. Active participation in CPD and opportunities for further study are both supported and encouraged.

• Previous experience working in a Haematology / Blood Transfusion laboratory (ideal).
• Capability to work shifts over 7 days, including evening, weekend and overnight as required.
