A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join their Histopathology department. You'll provide scientific services, support documentation management, and train junior staff. This role offers exposure to specialized training and a competitive salary of £38,682 to £46,580 annually. Ideal candidates will have an IBMS accredited degree and current HCPC registration.

As the largest Cellular Pathology department in the country, we’re looking for a Specialist BMS (candidates completing their IBMS Specialist Portfolio will also be considered) to join Paediatric Histopathology, where you’ll have the opportunity to work cross‑site, offering exposure to specialist training and experiences, for example, in Muscle Enzyme Histochemistry, Electron Microscopy, Ophthalmic Histopathology.
The departments are also working towards implementing digital imaging to support the Greater Manchester Strategy for Digital Pathology, with equipment due to be validated in 2025.
