A leading international mobility solutions provider in the UK is seeking an engineer to support the development and build of prototype vehicles. The role involves designing mechanical solutions, overseeing prototype builds, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Qualifications

• Automotive engineering to vehicle manufacturer quality standards.
• Building and maintaining customer and supplier relationships.
• Automotive/equipment test and development experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering of mechanical solutions.
• Overseeing prototype builds and development.
• Assist with testing and validation of modified vehicles.
• Technical report writing.
• Liaise with Purchasing team for materials procurement.

Skills

Knowledge of vehicle systems and legislative requirements

CAE experience, preferably on SolidWorks

Excellent communication skills

Education

Degree level or equivalent in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
