RSM Corporate Finance is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager to work in Special Situations M&A.

RSM’s Special Situations Group is a partner‑led team that integrates expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring to deliver tailored solutions for businesses navigating significant change or financial distress. Supporting both sell‑side and buy‑side stakeholders, the team works with corporates, lenders, and other financial stakeholders across the UK and globally, providing dynamic transaction support to achieve optimal outcomes.

You’ll make an impact by:
  • Assisting in preparing high‑quality marketing materials, including IMs and teasers, to support Special Situation transactions
  • Analysing operational performance and profitability to develop actionable reports and recommendations for underperforming businesses
  • Working closely with senior personnel and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout engagements
  • Project‑managing the delivery of engagements and reports to a high standard
  • Assisting in the preparation of pitch documents and materials

Requirements
Essential
  • Excellent report writing / drafting and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Either an ACA with a minimum 1-year post qualification experience
Desirable
  • A background in either M&A / transactions or Restructuring
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem‑solving abilities
  • Financial analysis capabilities
