Location: Hayes, London Borough of Hillingdon
Start Date: April 2025 (Easter Half-Term)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Pay: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hayes, who are seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) unit full-time from April 2025.

The ARP supports children with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and communication difficulties, offering a nurturing and structured environment within a mainstream setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND (primarily ASD) in small group or 1:1 settings
  • Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans
  • Assisting with daily routines, sensory regulation, and behaviour support
  • Helping to build confidence, independence, and communication skills
Qualifications:
  • Has previous experience working with children with additional needs, particularly autism
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a consistent approach to support
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service)
