Job summary

Impact Teachers is seeking a SEN Teacher to join a partner SEN school in the UK on a long-term basis. The role requires QTS or QTLS and experience teaching children with autism, sensory needs and complex learning differences.

You will plan engaging lessons, support communication and social interaction, and manage sensory challenges with patience. A PGCE or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's degree as a baseline qualification.

SEN Teacher

Salary: £195 - £255 per day

Join Us as a SEN Teacher in an SEN School

We are working with a fantastic school that has partnered with us for many years to support their recruitment. They are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for a strong, qualified (QTS or QTLS) SEN Teacher with proven experience teaching children with Autism, sensory needs, and additional complex learning difficulty.

Responsibilities
  • Patience and ability to manage sensory challenges and meltdowns.
  • Skilled in fostering communication and social interaction.
  • Familiarity with play-based learning and child development strategies.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
Qualifications/Experience
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
