Job summary

A Special Needs Education Provider in Wakefield is seeking Sports Coaches / Behaviour Support Workers to assist students with special needs. Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs.
• Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
• Support students in their academic and social development.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Assist with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
