Job summary

A leading national Charity in Northampton seeks a Special Needs Job Coach to provide support to learners with special needs. This full-time, fixed-term role focuses on employability coaching and job outcomes, including classroom support and engaging with local employers. The ideal candidate must have experience with special educational needs and a clear DBS. The position requires flexibility to travel and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

  • Have experience of working with learners with special educational needs.
  • Worked with post 16 learners preferably within an employability setting.
  • Be flexible with travel across North London and the surrounding areas.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to their own car.
  • Hold an enhanced Children and Adults DBS.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and assisting learners in the classroom.
  • Conducting job coaching sessions and employability skills to assist in the workplace.
  • Offering pastoral support.
  • Collaborating with Tutors to ensure all elements of the programme are completed.
  • Engaging with local employers to secure work placement opportunities.

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading national Charity who are looking to recruit a Special Needs Job Coach in Northampton. This is a full time, fixed term contract between 9-12 months and is paying £28,000. The role will be office based as well as visiting local employers. The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to special needs learners in the classroom with employability coaching to secure job outcomes. A small portion of the roll will also require supporting the learner find work placements.
