Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a caring SEMH support worker for a Horley campus. You will support students aged 5 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, provide personal care, and deliver trauma-informed support to help pupils feel safe and ready to learn.

This term-time role runs 8:30-16:30, Monday to Friday, with holidays completely free. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required as the campus is remote.

Qualifications

• Comfortable providing personal care for students aged 5 to 16.
• Experience in a similar educational or care environment (3–6 months).
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Understanding or training in trauma-informed approach to support.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to get one.
• Permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

• Salary: £95 to £105 per day

What You Will Be Doing

What You Need

• A full driving licence and access to a car, as the campus is in a remote location
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
• Understanding or training in a trauma-informed approach to support
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to get one
• Permanent right to work in the UK (we cannot accept applicants needing sponsorship or VISA support)
