  • For Media Studies (Entry Level 1-3 for Photography & Animation) - Enfield
  • Start Date: Mid-November
  • Days: Thursdays & Fridays (8:30am - 4:30pm)
  • Location: Enfield
  • Contract Type: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

We are seeking a passionate and creative Special Education Teacher to deliver Media Studies to learners working at Entry Levels 1-3. The curriculum focuses on photography and animation, providing engaging opportunities for students with complex needs and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) to explore and express their creativity in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver accessible, differentiated lessons in photography and animation.
  • Support learners with complex needs, ensuring lessons are engaging and inclusive.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to meet each learner's individual needs.
  • Contribute to learners' personal and creative development through a flexible, hands‑on approach.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, particularly complex needs and/or PMLD.
  • Creative and adaptable teaching style with a nurturing approach.
  • QTS and/or experience in teaching Media Studies are advantageous but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
