Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant for a specialist educational school based in Tadworth. You will support students with complex learning difficulties, including autism and non-verbal communication, fostering confidence and social connections.

The role covers ages 5–18, with both long-term and supply opportunities. Working hours are 8:30-4:30, and sponsorship is not provided. A DBS check is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months experience in special education, working with autism, complex needs and non-verbal students.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
• GCSE English and Maths at 4/C or above.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students with complex learning difficulties to promote learning.
• Support social interaction and build bonds within the class.
• Work on a long-term or supply basis as needed.
