Job summary

James-Hall- is recruiting a Retail Assistant & Supervisor to join our Keswick store. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service, help run daily operations, and lead by example in a busy retail environment.

You’ll support the Store Manager, manage till operations, stock levels, and audits, and inspire the team to maintain store standards, health and safety, and great customer experiences. Part-time hours available, 16–39 per week.

• Experience in retail customer service.
• Ability to handle till and cash accurately.
• Experience leading a team is a plus.

About the Role

As a Retail Assistant & Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of providing fantastic service to our customers. You’ll work with a friendly, supportive team, helping the store run smoothly while ensuring every customer has a positive experience.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

You’ll play a key role in the daily running of the store, including:

• Maximising sales by delivering excellent customer service
• Controlling costs and reducing waste
• Operating the till and handling cash accurately
• Managing stock levels and replenishing as needed
• Maintaining store security in line with company procedures
• Leading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service
• Taking responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Manager
• Leading by example to ensure all store standards, including customer service, health & safety, and food hygiene, are maintained
• Updating and maintaining store audits and administrative procedures
