A leading technology company in Leeds is seeking a Payments Technical Acceptance Manager /Consultant to lead technical acceptance enablement activities. The role involves fixing technical issues, managing client communications, and providing consultancy in the financial services sector. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and possess strong leadership and analytical skills. Experience in payment systems is crucial. The position offers a chance to work autonomously while engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Payments Technical Acceptance Manager /Consultant is responsible for leading and supervising all related technical acceptance enablement activities as part of the Spanish speaking countries, leveraging a strong trend and root cause analysis approach, while orchestrating the required support from specialised partnering teams to achieve successful remediation and country acceptance health targets. You will be accountable for working with company stakeholders, representing the project by providing regular country updates, including challenges and wins to direct management and senior internal stakeholder clients. Must have good presentation skills. You will be on top of country /region client projects being on top of all the project activities in the assigned countries and is the primary contact for issues and challenges arising from the portfolio of merchants they are responsible for. This role requires payments knowledge in the financial services industry, ideally from a scheme, or an acquiring background in the acceptance or acceptance related field, ensuring smooth and consistent deliveries, while understanding and fixing technical problems raised during payment checkout at POS terminals and ecommerce websites. Please note the technical issues are not card declines but more around acceptance breakage issues e.g. POS Software may not have been upgraded hence causing payment acceptance breakages.
