Job summary

Holt Executive Ltd seeks a talented Flight Dynamics Engineer to join our defence and space software team. You will design, develop and validate flight dynamics components, influencing product direction within an Agile environment to meet evolving customer requirements.

The role requires five years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Astronautics, Aerospace Engineering or Physics. You will collaborate with customers, support bids, ensure compliance with standards, and help deliver

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant space/defence discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least five years' commercial experience in flight dynamics for space/defence.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) or higher.
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and spacecraft flight dynamics.
• Experience with mission analysis, trajectory design and MATLAB/Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and maintain flight dynamics software for defence and space.
• Support bids and customer engagements with technical expertise.
• Translate requirements into user stories and technical specs.
• Define features for future software releases and agile delivery.
• Provide technical support to operations teams and external partners.
