Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Systems Engineer for a customer site in Portsmouth. The role involves developing and executing automated test procedures for satellite payload systems, validating CCSDS-based communications, and performing integration testing on satellite simulators and hardware test benches.

You will contribute to test specification, configuration management, anomaly investigation, and test traceability within Space Onboard Functional Validation programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable industry related experience or degree in engineering or science.
• Experience in Systems Engineering within space/aerospace preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CCSDS ground-to-space communications standards.
• Familiarity with project management tools and SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform System Engineering activities across satellite programmes.
• Execute functional validation and automation of tests.
• Collaborate with FV Architect and Tech Lead to break tests into parts.
• Create automated procedures for Satellite simulators and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Prepare configuration files and run step-by-step test procedures.
