Job summary

Spire is seeking a curious and process-minded Project Controller to join our growing delivery team in Glasgow. In this role, you will establish controls infrastructure to ensure complex programmes remain on track while providing leadership with real-time visibility.

With responsibilities including maintaining schedules, designing controls frameworks, and analysing cost performance, the ideal candidate will have a background in project controls, aerospace or defence industries, and strong analytical skills. A hybrid work model is in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls, ideally in aerospace or defence.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project.
• Ability to analyze cost data and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain programme schedules and manage baseline management.
• Design controls frameworks and reporting tools.
• Support cost performance tracking and analyse variances.
• Build programme reporting in project management platforms.
• Assure formal change control processes are followed.
• Manage risk and opportunity registers.
• Identify improvements in team workflows and tools.
