Job summary

Satellite Applications Catapult in Harwell is seeking a proactive Partnerships and Policy Manager to join the External Affairs team. You will work across national and local stakeholders, shaping policy and driving place-based growth to support the UK space ecosystem.

You will lead stakeholder engagement, policy analysis and advocacy, building strategic partnerships with industry, academia and government. This hybrid role involves UK travel and occasional interviews to meet urgent needs.

Qualifications

• Understanding government policy and the UK space ecosystem.
• Experience building relationships with government, industry and academia.
• Ability to monitor the policy landscape and produce concise briefings.
• Experience delivering collaborations and advocacy with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement: develop intelligence and relationships with government, industry, academia and regulators.
• Ecosystem policy: monitor policy landscape and produce briefs to inform decisions.
• Advocacy: engage stakeholders to shape policy and coordinate consultations.
