Job summary

iO Associates is seeking a highly skilled Information & Cybersecurity Assurance Manager to safeguard critical projects within the aerospace sector. You will lead security assurance, drive governance, and oversee accreditation processes in line with ISO 27001 and CE+ standards.

The role requires proven experience in Secure by Design and managing security artefacts, with eligibility for UK residency at SC level.

Qualifications

Proven expertise in leading security assurance within defence or aerospace sectors.
Experience developing Security Management Plans, Risk Assessments, and Security Architecture Documents.
Strong understanding of information systems and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CE+, DCC).
Ability to facilitate certification processes, coordinate remediation actions, and write reports.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and assuring contractual security obligations for products and services, including accreditation like ISO 27001, CE+, and DCC.
Developing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards.
Managing security artefacts, controls, and ensuring project milestones are met effectively.
Leading certification, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing activities with remediation verification.
Reviewing security of infrastructure, cloud, and application designs and conducting risk assessments for new technologies.
Supporting incident response strategies and business continuity planning as part of security incident teams.
Ensuring third-party supplier security requirements and space licensing security obligations are met.
Managing project-level security budget and monitoring security awareness training compliance.
