Description

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Spa Therapist on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. To provide holistic treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other well-being treatments, to enhance the guest experience onboard, as per our Spa Partner (Guerlain) standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Professionally conduct all massages, treatments, and wellness and spa treatments.
  • Provide competent advice and strive for service-oriented and successful sales of treatments and products.
  • Booking of appointments and make sales using a computerized reservation system.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and security throughout the treatment area.
  • Help decorate the display cabinets, treatment rooms, and public areas.
  • Support the Spa Manager with respect to stock keeping, controlling, and statistics.
  • Cater to guests and supervise the sauna as well as replenish sauna essential oils.
  • Develop and conduct events, specials, and workshops in coordination with the Spa Manager.
  • Monitor and replenish the relaxation area as needed (teas, infusions, flavored detox beverages).
  • Active participation in onboard training programs.
  • Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Languages: Fluent English plus one additional international language preferred (French, German, Spanish, Mandarin).
  • Education: High school degree or related. Trained as Spa Therapist in upscale environment.
  • Previous professional experience: 2 years as Spa Therapist in a luxury environment.
  • Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
  • Valid STCW certificates.
  • Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
  • C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
