Overview

Lambeth Single Point of Access (SPA) is part of the Lambeth Living Well Network (LWN) Alliance, working closely with SLaM services, statutory organisations and voluntary groups to provide short‑ and longer‑term mental health support. SPA acts as the front door to mental health services in Lambeth, offering multidisciplinary care from clinicians, social workers, support workers and people with lived experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co‑ordinate multidisciplinary working to maintain excellent communication and relationships with all team members and allied services within the Alliance.
  • Deliver high‑quality, safe care in partnership with the Team Lead and Clinical Expert.
  • Conduct mental health and risk assessments, and provide general health, wellbeing and self‑management advice using the triage proforma.
  • Determine appropriate clinical intervention and refer within primary shared care or secondary care pathways as needed.
  • Support the development of joint working opportunities and protocols with other network organisations for clients who do not require a formal offer.
  • Encourage and foster collaborative and cross‑organisational working with wider community services.
