A leading national healthcare provider in Aberdeen City is seeking candidates for Pharmacy Technician/Student Technician roles. The position offers training in various pharmacy sections, including aseptic and radiopharmacy. Qualifications include a BTec/NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent for technicians and a minimum of 4 National 5s for students. The role includes a weekend rota, with competitive salary and benefits.
Full Time 37 hours
Pharmacy Technician Band 4 – £29,116 – £31,670
Student Pharmacy Technician – Annex 21*
This would be an exciting opportunity for a candidate wishing to undertake a fast-paced role within a supportive and sociable team. The post holder will be based within ARI Pharmacy with a rotation throughout the sections within pharmacy.
No previous hospital experience necessary as the post holder will benefit from training in aseptic, radiopharmacy, ward medicines management, dispensary services and procurement and supply.
This role includes a weekend rota and public holiday working.

If appointed to the Student Pharmacy Technician role, the post will be offered under the terms of Annex 21, Agenda for Change, Arrangements for pay and banding of trainees to allow you to successfully complete the training required.
1st Year - 70% of band 4
2nd Year - 75% of band 4
As this post is a training post and you are offered the post under Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions. You will be paid a % of the Pay Band x Maximum Point. Once you have achieved all relevant qualifications and competencies you will move to Band 4. The % will be determined by your training requirements and expected duration to complete both the qualifications and competencies, which will be agreed and communicated in writing by your Line Manager.
