About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership as part of the new Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC).

This is a permanent full‑time position of 37 hours. The post will be based primarily in CTAC clinics, working in a treatment‑room setting. As the post holder is employed by NHS Grampian, some flexibility may be required to support service demands elsewhere in Aberdeen City H&SCP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nursing care to patients in the CTAC clinic setting.
  • Perform venepuncture and other basic nursing procedures.
  • Manage wound care, ear irrigation, PICC line care, catheter care, and ABPI Doppler assessments.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑standard patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Nurse with current nursing licence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with venepuncture and basic nursing skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in wound care is essential.
  • Experience in ear irrigation, PICC line care, catheter care and ABPI Doppler assessments is desirable; training will be provided.
  • Experience working in a GP treatment room is desirable but not mandatory; other healthcare settings experience will also be considered.
