A healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Nurse to provide nursing support at Urie Dental Practice. The ideal candidate will have a NEBDN qualification or equivalent SVQ level 3, be registered with the General Dental Council, and possess excellent communication skills. Job description

NHS Grampian is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated dental nurse for to provide nursing support.

The main base for this post will be in Urie Dental Practice within Inverurie Hospital Site.

This is a full time post 37hours per week 8.30am – 4.30pm Salary (£30,353 - £33,016). (AfC Band 4).

The post holder will be required to provide full chair side assistance to clinicians and decontamination duties it will be busy and challenging at times.

There will also be a requirement for some reception duties to be undertaken. provide nursing support and a requirement for flexibility and willingness to travel across the Aberdeenshire area to support the wider Shire dental clinics.

It would be advantageous for this post holder to have the sedation post registration qualification or to undertake the relevant course.

Aberdeenshire Public Dental Services will support the successful applicant’s to attain the relevant qualification’s to support the Shire PDS.

Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team should be motivated, being able to interact on all levels and is flexible with a willingness to travel across Grampian.

Candidates are required to hold the NEBDN qualification or equivalent SVQ level 3 and be registered with the General Dental Council also a full driving licence is required for this post.
