A leading technology firm is looking for a Sales Leader specialized in European Sovereign Cloud. This role involves driving go-to-market strategies and collaborating with public-sector teams to enhance AWS solution adoption. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in business development or sales within the public sector and must excel in stakeholder communication and negotiation. The position requires travel up to 50% across Europe to engage with key clients and partners.

We are seeking a sales leader to join our dedicated European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) Specialist Sales Team. This specialised team focuses exclusively on supporting European AGS, AWSI, and WWPS ESC sales across both partners and customers, enabling deep specialisation in ESC‑specific requirements, pipeline development, and EU national government procurement/policy/regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Sr Sovereign Cloud Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for pipeline generation.
The AWS European Sovereign Cloud is a new, independent cloud for Europe, designed to help public‑sector organisations and customers in highly regulated industries meet their evolving sovereignty needs. The AWS European Sovereign Cloud will provide customers the capability to meet stringent operational autonomy and data residency requirements.
