GMB is seeking a Regional Organiser for a 6 month fixed-term contract based at the Hove Office. The role may require travel across the region and occasional unsocial hours. You will mobilise and recruit members, run campaigns, and represent the union in negotiations.

The successful candidate will have strong campaigning skills, excellent communication and the ability to work flexibly to meet regional needs. The position includes a fleet car and other terms and benefits.

• Proven history of recruiting members into a trade union.
• Excellent communication, including press, media, report writing and public speaking.
• Knowledge of employment law and industrial relations.
• Commitment to equalities and fair representation.
