Job summary

Loungers plc, owner of Cazaro Lounge, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team on opening-site duties. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead service and ensure every dish leaving the pass is of the highest standard, with real progression opportunities in a growing hospitality group.

We’re looking for an experienced sous / junior sous or Chef de Partie ready to take the next step, who loves real cooking, teamwork and delivering great food every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Passion for fresh ingredients, high standards and good mise en place.
• Strong leadership and coaching of kitchen staff.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts from prep through to final plate, keeping service smooth and on spec.
• Support Head Chef and cover in their absence to deliver strong results.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
• Own key routines: prep/par, stock control, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop chefs to improve skills and consistency.

We're hiring a full-time Sous Chef to be part of the kitchen team atCazaro Lounge, a local café bar. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. What you’ll Do

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, keeping service smooth, organised and on spec from prep through to the final plate
• Be the Head Chef’s right hand — supporting day-to-day operations, stepping up in their absence, and helping the kitchen deliver consistently strong results
• Set the tone for high standards on the pass, with a sharp eye for food quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety
• Take ownership of key kitchen routines including prep and par, stock control, waste, orders and effective shift handovers
• Coach and support the team around you, helping new and existing chefs build confidence, grow their skills and deliver great food every shift
