Job summary

A prominent hospitality group in the East Midlands is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. This role involves preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard, supporting kitchen management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience at CDP level or higher, effective stock management skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. This part-time position includes 40 hours per week across various shifts and offers an opportunity for growth within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience chef at CDP level or higher.
  • Previous responsibility of ordering and stock management.
  • Organised, confident & self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cook and present dishes to the highest standard.
  • Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
  • Create a positive collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Drive commercial performance by maximising revenue.
  • Take ownership of opening & closing procedures.
  • Support the Head Chef in monitoring guest feedback.
