Bella Italia in Glasgow is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen family. You will organise, coordinate, and deliver service across sections, working with the team to create dishes to specification and guide junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate, and deliver service across one or more sections in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to produce dishes to specification.
• Support and guide chefs, kitchen assistants and porters.
• Ensure the kitchen is prepped and organised for service.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete opening and closing checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Take responsibility for ordering stock.
• Keep food stock secure and minimise deficits.
• Lead the kitchen team in the head chef's absence.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested.
