Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Sous Chef for the evening shift from 1pm to 9pm in Towcester, Northamptonshire. Job Description

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head chef; ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Station Management – oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintain cleanliness, and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
• Team Collaboration – communicate positively and effectively with all team members, support and coach junior chefs for their development.
• Menu Development – collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and your designated area, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
