Sous Chef - Term time only - Worthing area - £16.72 p/h 40 hours

Are you a Sous chef looking for a new opportunity within the contract catering industry that can provide you with a great work / life balance?

We are currently looking for a sous chef for our education catering site based in Worthing area .
Key Information:
Salary: £16.72 p/h
Hours: term time only, 40 hours a week, 4 days on 4 days off
7am-730pm
Location: Worthing area - Must drive
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service in the school
* Preparation, cooking and presentation of food to agreed standards.
* Help with preparation of food items and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen
* Work alongside the kitchen team

Required skills include:
* A strong understanding of produce and ingredients
* Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
* Knowledge of food production methods
* Embrace new ideas and processes
* Positive and approachable manner

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:
* Experience as a sous chef
* Ability to follow instructions
* High Standards of hygiene
