A leading catering company in the United Kingdom is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join their team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, with ideal working hours that make for a great work-life balance, typically finishing by 3pm. The role entails preparing diverse dishes for large catering events, ensuring the use of fresh produce. Ideal candidates will have experience in contract catering or banqueting, as this role supports a high volume of meals daily. The kitchen offers modern facilities and allows for overtime opportunities.
DAYTIME ONLY: A Sous Chef is required for an independent contract catering company. You and the team will be working with fresh produce completely bespoke to the clients needs. You will be working in a state of the art kitchen and catering for up to 500 meals a day – from sandwich platters to fine dining.
WORK LIFE BALANCE: Every evening off – a busy day here would be to come in an hour earlier rather than an hour longer. Majority of the time you will be finishing around 3pm.
The ideal Sous Chef will be from a contract catering background or banqueting background due to the size and volume at this site.
