TipTopJob in Hammersmith, West London, is recruiting an ambitious Sous Chef to join a premium contract catering operation. You will support the Chef Manager, prepare fresh breakfast and lunch, and work Monday to Friday in a close-knit kitchen.

This role focuses on quality, allergen awareness, and menu development in a corporate environment, with progression opportunities toward kitchen management and Chef Manager.

Qualifications

• Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie experience.
• Contract Catering, Business and Industry or quality fresh food background.
• Passionate about fresh food and menu development.
• Strong knowledge of allergens and food safety.
• Organised and confident working within a compact kitchen.
• Reliable, hands-on and a strong team player.
• Ambitious and looking to progress into kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef Manager with the daily kitchen operation.
• Prepare and deliver fresh breakfast and lunch menus.
• Breakfast service from 8:00am–10:00am.
• Lunch service from 12:00pm–14:00pm.
• Contribute to seasonal menus and new food ideas.
• Support menu costings, ordering and stock control.
• Maintain excellent allergen and food safety compliance.
• Drive food quality, consistency and presentation.
