Qualifications

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, ensuring meals are nutritious, varied, and appealing.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Promote hydration and nutrition to support residents' health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a warm, welcoming dining experience in line with the home's luxury standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, ideally within a nursing home, hospital, or care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Ability to prepare meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable for older adults.
  • Food hygiene and safety qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred).
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for care catering.
