Sous Chef – Nursing Home – Full-Time – £14 per Hour

Our client is looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the catering team within a luxury nursing home for older adults.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef with experience in care or similar settings to provide residents with a premium dining experience. The role goes beyond traditional kitchen work: it’s about creating fresh, nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs, supporting health, wellbeing, and enjoyment at every mealtime.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, ideally within a nursing home, hospital, or care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of allergies, dietary requirements, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Ability to prepare meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable for older adults.
  • Food hygiene and safety qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred).
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for care catering.
