About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join an established and creative kitchen team at a stunning wedding and events venue. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary experience, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation standards.

As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, efficient team performance, and consistent delivery of outstanding dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and high standards throughout service.
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating to deliver dishes of the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, seasonal offerings, and creative presentation.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen team members.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering and inventory management.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
