About Tewinbury Farm

Our food offering is a very important part of Tewinbury Farm. Our three main food‑led outlets are the Granary kitchen, Cowshed restaurant and Stables bar. Each of these has its own uniquely crafted seasonally changing menu, all distinctly different from one another. We also have beautiful event spaces for weddings and private and corporate events with menus to match. In addition, we have our own state‑of‑the‑art cookery school and kitchen garden, providing seasonal fruit and vegetables which feature heavily on our menus. Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Assisting the Executive Sous Chef with the running of the department - planning, ordering and preparing
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of performance and teamwork
  • Oversee daily food production, quality control, and presentation
  • Monitoring rotas - ensuring any staff absence is covered and the department is fully staffed
  • Assisting in other kitchens of the hotel when required
  • Someone who is flexible in their work - you must enjoy being a "hands‑on" member of a team, while we encourage a work‑life balance, you must be willing to work the hours required of the business and recognise that we are open 365 days a year
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
  • Someone who is highly organised and a natural communicator. A people person who enjoys positively impacting on the people you interact with - both customers and other team members
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Someone who can be part of creating a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
