Our independent client operates this prestigious 4-star hotel in the Yorkshire countryside, accessible from Leeds, Ilkley, and Skipton. The hotel offers rosette-standard dining in their fine dining restaurant, a second all-day dining restaurant, and banqueting facilities in this stunning country setting.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced sous chef to join a professional, focused kitchen striving for excellence daily. You will have the chance to develop skills to eventually lead your own kitchen team, supported by a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a strong support system.

You should currently work in a fresh food-led kitchen as a Senior Sous Chef or manage a team of 10+ chefs, ideally in a multi-outlet environment such as a hotel or gastro pub.

Experience working to a 2-3 rosette standard, as well as in high-quality banqueting, is preferred.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in a multi-rosette venue
  • Experience in a fresh food environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or gastro pub
  • Excellent kitchen management skills, including H&S, HACCP, wastage control, labour costs, and menu costing
  • Knowledge of seasonal produce and creative ingredient utilization for an award-winning menu
  • The skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to inspire chefs to pursue perfection daily

In return, my client offers a salary of £39,000 plus over £4,000 annually in tips, a 4-day working week, and support from an independent hotel group aiming to enhance its reputation and achieve further awards. This is a prestigious addition to your CV.
