Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for NRC, Stanford Hall. The role focuses on hands-on leadership, delivering high-quality meals and running daily catering operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee daily feeding, lead a small team, manage budgets and ensure food safety standards are met, with a Monday–Friday pattern and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef.
• Hands-on leader who works alongside the team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

£33700 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday day time shifts with some ocassional weekends

We’re looking for an experienced, hands‑onSous Chefto lead our catering operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who enjoys being on the tools, supporting their team, and delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced, structured environment.

You’ll be responsible for daily feeding and function activities while leading and developing a dedicated team.
