Day time hours** My clients are seeking a Sous Chef to join their team in a bustling farm shop/restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
  • Ensure food safety procedures are strictly followed during all stages of food preparation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organised cooking environment
  • Help with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients
  • Run the pass and manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced culinary setting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and manage junior team members
  • A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field
