Job summary

Barons Pub Company’s The Cricketers in Horsell, Woking, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen, delivering dishes to time and specification and managing up to seven Chefs and KPs.

Earn up to £41,500 per year (basic + tron or service) with an additional £2,000 bonus; there is no accommodation with this position. Barons Pubs offers training, pension contributions, staff meals, and various staff perks across 11 sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen delivering dishes to time standards.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams and lead up to 7 Chefs and KPs.
• Ensures exceptional food quality and presentation while running the kitchen professionally.

Our Sous Chefs are committed and passionate about their teams and about the food that they serve. You will need to have some previous experience of working in a high-volume kitchen - delivering dishes to company time standards and specification and managing teams of up to 7 Chefs and KPs on a busy service. A key factor of your success will be the ability to remain calm under pressure, and have the qualities to lead and motivate the team to consistently produce great food.
