What you\'ll be doing
- As Sous Chef, you\'ll support the Head Chef in leading a talented kitchen team to maintain the hotel\'s exceptional Rosette-standard dining experience. Your creativity and leadership will help drive the menu forward and inspire those around you.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and service
- Lead, train, and mentor junior chefs
- Develop seasonal menus using locally sourced and foraged ingredients
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with the wider team to uphold the hotel\'s sustainable ethos
What we\'re looking for
- We\'re seeking a passionate Chef local to the Honiton area - or looking to be a Live-in Chef who thrives in a creative, fast-paced kitchen and is inspired by working with local produce.
- Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in Rosette or fine dining
- Leadership skills with a calm, encouraging approach
- Commitment to quality, sustainability, and craft cookery
- A genuine love for local and home-grown ingredients
