The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing a busy kitchen, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone passionate about food, with a love for managing teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Head Chef in running the kitchen efficiently and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Leading, developing, and motivating the kitchen team
  • Ensuring consistent execution of the menu to a high standard
  • Overseeing stock control, ordering, and managing supplier relationships
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Supporting in the management of labour and food costs
  • Assisting in training and mentoring chefs of all levels
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef on menu development and innovation
  • Taking charge of day-to-day kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
