- £15.69 per hour
- 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days)
- Shift patterns:
- Early: 05:30 – 14:30
- Late: 11:15 – 20:15
Meal Service Times:
Breakfast – 06:30 to 07:45
Lunch – 12:00 to 13:45
Evening Meal – 17:00 to 20:00

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our team at Brompton Barracks, working across a large-scale operation serving 500 personnel. You’ll be part of a dedicated kitchen team delivering freshly prepared, high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring excellent standards of food, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals for all services
- Support kitchen operations and team members during service
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergen control standards
- Assist with stock control, menu input, and daily kitchen organisation
- Work collaboratively within a large team to ensure smooth service

- Experience essential in a professional kitchen
- Qualifications desirable but not essential
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Reliable and flexible, able to work early and late shifts
