We’re on the lookout for a skilled, motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a dynamic role where you’ll support the Head Chef in leading day-to-day operations, ensuring our food is consistently of the highest standard. You’ll oversee event catering for conferences and banquets, while also delivering refined dishes for our executive lounge. No two days are the same - one moment you’ll be orchestrating a plated dinner for 200 guests, the next you’ll be crafting elegant small plates for business leaders.
Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth service across events and the executive lounge
Supervise and mentor junior chefs, fostering a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
Plan and execute menus tailored to conferences, banquets, and lounge service, balancing creativity with efficiency
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times
Coordinate with event managers and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
Manage stock, ordering, and cost control to support efficient kitchen operations
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume environment
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing demands
Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Creativity in menu design paired with practical knowledge of large-scale catering
Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak event periods
