Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate chef to join our ever expanding kitchen team.
Experience in producing dishes using fresh local ingredients in a fast pace environment with a minimum of 2 years experience is essential.

- Minimum of 2 years previous relevant experience within a busy fresh food kitchen.
- Previous experience in preparing pub classic food as well premium gastro-pub dishes.
- Passion for cooking and exceptional service standards with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
- Ability to run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Support the kitchen team in various tasks, including cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes.
- Help supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and ordering supplies.
- Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant/pub environment is required.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- A passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
