Qualifications

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high-quality Italian dishes.
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation.
  • Minimum 3 years as Sous Chef and 6 years in escalating roles.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and HACCP protocols.
  • Resident within one hour commute.

Responsibilities

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver exceptional Italian cuisine. You’ll be responsible for supervising junior chefs, managing food preparation and presentation, overseeing purchasing and stock control, and maintaining food cost and gross profit targets. You’ll also handle relevant administrative duties and contribute to menu development.

Minimum Requirements
  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high‑quality Italian dishes
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Ideal previous experience of at least 3 years in role of Sous Chef + min 6 years of prior experience in escalating job ranks
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
