A prestigious hotel group in Bath is looking for a Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team. You will collaborate with the Head Chef to create exciting dishes and manage the kitchen in their absence. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment is essential.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Up-to-date with allergen training.

Location: The Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey-coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi- award-winning gardens. We are proud to have won awards at 5-star level for over ten years and we are seeking sparkling new personalities to join our family.
SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.

As a Sous Chef, you will beworking alongside the Head Chef to run a busy kitchen. You will be creatingexciting and delicious dishes to be served to guests.

This role would suit someone whohas worked in a similar environment previously.

  • As a skilled chef, you’ll get to really putthose knife skills to the test, cooking with the finest of ingredients.
  • We want to keep everyone safe, so you’llneed to keep up to date with the latest allergen training.
  • Being one team, everyone in the kitchen isresponsible for keeping it clean.
  • Nobody wants out of date food, so labellingyour food is important.
  • As an experienced chef, we encourage you toshare your knowledge with new, budding Junior Sous, CDP’s, KP’s and Commiscoming into the industry.
  • You’ll be responsible for managing thekitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Along with the Head Chef, you’ll write theallergen matrix, to ensure that all our guests are kept safe.
  • We can’t run out of food, so it’s importantto keep on top of ordering, via Procure Wizard.
